@calvinokello4 Sifuna's sharp, immediate comeback—stating that arguing with him about chickens is like arguing with a potato farmer about potatoes—proves he can match the President’s known rhetorical stamina, reinforcing his position as a potential presidential or deputy-presidential contender.
@antoneosoul@UuglyFace@OleItumbi They lied to the producer who made Sipangwingwi, the song that gave them the victory. Promised him a studio, never fulfilled. Never took his call after winning. Came back to contribute 500k at his burial. Those are fucking assholes.

@Henrymirie your company’s complaint was duly received and resolved based on the evidence provided by both your company and the SACCO, and in accordance with the applicable law.
You were also advised that, should you remain dissatisfied with the outcome, you have the right to pursue any other legal remedies available to you.
To the best of the Authority’s knowledge, the complaint concerned your company’s request for an additional loan and did not involve any threat to the savings or deposits held by your company in the SACCO.
Please note that the Authority’s mandate does not extend to compelling a SACCO to grant a loan to a member where the SACCO has determined that the member does not qualify for the amount applied for.
I regret to inform you that my complaint remains unresolved. Your staff requested that I sign a letter purportedly authored by Jeremiah Were; however, upon review, it appears that this document grants the Sacco the authority to dismiss my complaint.

They should stop protecting Sacco 's from exploiting member's just do their regulatory work period not giving flimsy excuses about no mandate!
You talk about protecting members' savings to the National Assembly, yet your team at Upper Hill has refused to execute a mandatory tripartite meeting (Ref: SASRA/700/CS.8721/0066/VOL.IV)Is this what you mean by #SecuringSACCOFunds?"
Yesterday, the Authority appeared before the National Assembly Departmental Committee on Trade, Industry and Cooperatives to deliberate on the proposed Sacco Societies (Amendment) Bill, 2025.
Led by Chief Executive Officer David Sandagi, the Authority briefed the Committee on the proposed reforms aimed at strengthening prudential supervision, safeguarding members’ savings and enhancing the long-term stability of the SACCO sector.
The Committee emphasized the need for stronger protection of members’ deposits while avoiding unnecessary administrative requirements that could complicate SACCO operations or affect access to affordable credit.
Members also raised concerns regarding the proposed compensation limit of KSh 100,000 per depositor under the deposit insurance framework and called for consideration of a more equitable model.
The Authority further explained that the Bill would facilitate shared technological platforms, enabling smaller SACCOs to access modern systems, reduce compliance costs and benefit from economies of scale.
SASRA appreciates the Committee’s guidance and remains committed to supporting a progressive and responsive legal framework that protects SACCO members while promoting a stable and sustainable sector.

Under Kenyan law, @SASRA_ke’s true statutory obligation is investigating bad-faith account manipulation, unauthorized internal charges, and regulatory misconduct.Dismissing active financial bleeding as a simple "loan denial" is a failure of your consumer protection mandate.

Pushing members toward third-party buyouts instead of executing an unbiased audit of predatory practices is a clear abdication of your statutory duty.#SecuringSACCOFunds

Your compliance department has chosen to rely on unverified, one-sided minutes from an alleged meeting that never took place, while completely ignoring broken promises, withheld collateral, and account manipulation. #SecuringSACCOFunds

@SASRA_ke
This is a deliberate misrepresentation. My dispute is NOT about compelling an institution to grant a loan,I fully respect that you lack that mandate. The real issue is your total failure to protect a member from a predatory SACCO using unconventional, methods.

Where you draw the line is when members rights are violated by the same SACCO's you claim to regulate but you treat with such contempt when they complain about malpractices.
