3. Finally coming to the understanding the project’s data isn’t always the most important outcome. Having only 6 months to start (and try to complete) a project I learned that sometimes YOU are the product of your work and it’s not always what makes it in a paper.

Following the completion of my undergraduate degree in December, and for the last 6 months, I have worked as a research assistant for professor Kit Parker at Harvard University. He asked me what 3 high points were during my time and now I want to share them with you:
2. The ability to lean on the expertise around you. Whether you’re the one teaching or the one being taught some of the best growth happens when you are working with the other members of a lab. It can even be as simple as just bouncing ideas off of each other.
This past weekend I was able to walk at Harvard graduation after a year delay. I am so thankful for my family to be in attendance, because they are the reason I have been so fortunate in life. Hopefully they can make it to Palo Alto a few times to see my new home. #Thankful
