Day 12: We took a moment to reflect and share our biggest takeaways from the training. It was amazing hearing how much everyone had learned and grown.
It’s been an amazing ride so far, learning, applying, connecting, and continuously pushing myself forward.
Day 11 to13 of my Career Job Hunt
And oh yes, I’ve been busy!
The past few days have been filled with sending out applications, which explains my little absence here.
Day 11 & 13: Back to applications and putting myself out there.
@Hostaway Thank you so much for your response. I'm not physically present as the job demands even though remote. I'm hopeful I'll get the opportunity to apply for more suitable positions in the future that aligns.
She also introduced us to valuable tools in Project Management and shared how she has grown over the years to build a successful academy.
Her story was a powerful reminder that consistency, learning, and going harder can change your story.
I'll keep learnin and keep applying.
Day 9 and 10 of my Career Job Hunt
For day 9 i spent the day sending out applications and staying consistent with the process.
Day 10 we had an inspiring session with a Project Management Lead Coach who shared her journey from Nnewi to the UK, built through consistent research
Day 8 of my Career Job Hunt
Today, we shared our screens to review how far we’ve come with our applications.
It was a great way to stay accountable, build confidence, and make sure we’re still on the right track.
My background and existing skills can open doors, but consistency and continuous learning will keep me moving forward.
And yes, grace and favour matter, but it's best i put in the work and also do my part.
I may have setbacks, but I refuse to give up. I’ll keep learning.
My day 7 touched me so much.
I was encouraged to keep Learning, keep Adapting and Neve to Quit.
Day 7 reminded me that freelancing is not just about getting trained, it’s about what I do with what I’ve learned.
Our Guest Speaker Shofowora Olamilekan Micheal shared his experience with freelancing as well as his Sales Career. Thank you so much.
I need to keep improving, research what works, test new strategies, build my confidence, and be willing to adapt when something isn’t working.
He never gave up.
Thank you again for the wisdom, encouragement, and reminder to keep going.
Keep showing up. Your journey is still unfolding.
Thank you again Coach Grace Chibueze - Okere and our amiable Guest Speaker Michael Uche Madunatu
Day 5 of my Career Job Hunt
What a session! Today’s session with an AI Automation guest speaker was truly inspiring.
One line stayed with me:
“Follow people that will help you believe your dream is possible.”
That hit differently. It reminded me that valuable connections matter, especially when you’re building something you believe in.
His story was just as powerful, he almost quit, but he got back on his feet, found his space, and today, he’s thriving and landing jobs.
Day 4 of my Career Job Hunt
Today was about staying ready.
I practised my tools to sharpen my skills and stay equipped for the next opportunity, while also engaging with my new network to build visibility and meaningful connections.

Small improvements, better strategy, consistent action.
I’m staying hopeful and trusting that the coming days will bring great results.
Still showing up
Day 3 of my Career Job Hunt
Today, I took time to review my applications, make a few updates to my portfolio, and refine my approach.
We also had a brief community meeting with my host, where we discussed smarter strategies for sending out applications and standing out.
Day 2, and the shift already feels different.
We moved past "apply and hope" and focused on strategy: finding the right prospects, starting real conversations, and pitching value over listing skills.
12 days left in this sprint with Coach Grace Chibueze-Okere.
We also covered pricing, portfolio building, and balancing speed with quality, the practical side of turning a skill into a paid service.
The biggest lesson today: Stop chasing every opportunity. Get skilled enough to recognize the right one and position yourself for it.
