@StacyBrownMedia@salbonyc@JonHeyman@Mets He didn’t say “no” explicitly. He was asked about the feeling of other owners around the league, and said that he “had to live in the world.” What he has said previously is that the plan is to leverage his largess until the farm is built up enough to sustain long term winning.
"Drive by, that's cars you can't see inside till the clips hit, thats for verb, I spoke words, put action behind it, and sent tints (sentence)." They slept. @NUJERZEYTWORK
@GMBVW don't trade kelenic, please. Dunn, toffey, even Peterson. Not Kelenic. Not for 2b. Imported 2b don't work for the Mets. Fonzie and Murphy worked. Homegrown. Let McNeil/Rivera/Flores eat.
The Mets need to get younger and more athletic, so this trade makes perfect sense. I hate it. Even if the team improves in 19 (which they could do with some fa investment) the team will be worse off in future yrs. The Mets remain confounding.
Why would you give up an 18 yr old legit five tool natural hitter, for five years of decline from a lh second baseman? Why not just sign multiple relievers (ottovino, Miller, sipp, etc.) Protect Kelenic!!!
@BrandonTierney Lauri cant rebound. He is 7ft and cannot rebound. Noah does not have knees or shoulders but can still rebound. Stretch Noah. Do not move kp.
