You are mixing culture with religion. We demolished everything related to worshipping any other than Allah., just like all other Muslim communities.
Somalis has been Muslims 1300+ years. Somalis spread Islam to the Somali Peninsula including what today is called Ethiopia.

Most of the land area in the Horn of Africa lies in predominantly Muslim regions.
