High School trainer accused of sending explicit pics to teen.

A 27-year-old athletic trainer at Indian Creek High School in Illinois allegedly sent explicit photos of herself to a 17-year-old student. Multiple times. In April. While she was employed there in a position of trust around kids.

Christina G. Payton of Creston, Illinois, is accused of distributing those images on April 2, 4, 7, and 11. The report first hit law enforcement on June 10th. She turned herself in to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office on August 5th.

She’s facing 12 charges in all. 8 of those are felonies.

A predator with over a hundred victims walks away with a sentence shorter than many people get for far less. The system keeps proving that the people who destroy children the most still get protected the most.
