Because contrary to the incessant propaganda the MSM have been pushing for decades, Americans are fundamentally decent people.

If they hadn't been demonised, constantly told they have no right to a country, US aid would probably still be a thing.

The world has taken this for granted, and constantly slandered and belittled them for it.

Take this example, they have been supporting those Kenyans for years now, and in all those years I don't think I have ever heard one iota of thanks to them.

Imagine if this platform made a good faith attempt at such a project. It could be a powerful tool in the arsenal of democracy and giving a true voice to the people.

The fact that it is not that, and that it is gradually moving further and further from that means that we are not the customers, the ability to manipulate our opinions is the product.

However there is a silver lining, for them to expend such resources and effort in this task makes me certain of one thing and that is this:

Its not just SpaceX, its anything not associated with their worldview.

The way I think about it is like with a dog that has gotten a hold of something they weren't meant to. You try to grab the toy away from them and they just lock their jaws and try to pull away. Any rationalisation comes after the fact, they are operating purely on emotion.

That was the first book I read in the polity universe. It set me on an addiction to the rest of it!

@nealasher what is next in the polity universe? Do you see anything happening in other galaxies or any other frontiers undiscovered by the polity?

I remember in the agent Cormac series there was mention of an expedition to another galaxy (I think) that went awyr because of Jain tech and they had to use a runcible to evacuate, and it damaged a sun in our galaxy due to reasons I can't quite remember. But there must have been expeditions other than that to even further afield

There is a level of contempt that these people have for us. Its not all of them, some are misguided, they blindly believe the msm. But for many of them they simply view us as an enemy, and then they warp and twist facts to justify why they feel this way.

I don't think they themselves could truly articulate why they feel this way, its an emotion, its not logic.

I suspect there is a level of sadism to it, the suffering of others is a reward in and of itself to them. I think they also enjoy the fight, at least when people aren't fighting back.

Our greatest crime is that "we don't know our place" in their eyes. We dare to question them, we dare to live how we choose and not how they choose for us.

Everything else about anti racism and tolerance is just a lie that they exploit because they cannot tolerate us and our fundamental existence in a society where they are forced to treat us as equals. Even superficially.

And English and even White history as a whole is littered with such cases.
