There was a terrible traffic jam yesterday along Parliamentary Avenue. Hon. Adonia decided to get out of his car at the CJ junction and walk alone all the way to Parliament.
My question is: what did he lose by doing so?
Isn’t this the simplicity and humility we want to see in our leaders? A simple lesson that leadership is not about forcing things to work the opposite way or inconveniencing others for personal convenience.
Keep it up, Hon. Adonia. Leading by example speaks louder than words.
@PoliceUg@MODVA_UPDF you need to immediately pick interest in this matter. These are reckless & potentially criminal statements and should be treated as such.
This demonstrates the damage that some people cause to others online, just to get a little ‘food’. The person on camera represents the rest of us who simply look on or share toxic stuff for likes.
A dream come true for the ‘Ghetto Kids’ of Uganda 🇺🇬
After getting Shakira’s attention for their ‘Dai Dai’ dance videos online, the dance troupe has been officially invited to perform at the World Cup final. They have even started rehearsing with Shakira herself 👏🤩
The ‘Ghetto Kids’ are an NGO based in Uganda serving disadvantaged, street and orphaned children.
🇺🇬 Uganda Ebola Outbreak Update | As of May 30
Uganda’s Ebola response continues, with national teams and partners working to detect cases early, follow contacts, protect health workers and stop further transmission.
Every contact followed, every sample tested, and every frontline worker protected brings the response closer to interrupting transmission.
Africa CDC continues to support the Government of Uganda (@GovUganda), its @MinofHealthUG, and partners through surveillance, contact tracing, laboratory testing, case management and community engagement.
We are sharing Uganda-specific figures to provide clear, country-by-country information across affected countries. #AfricaResponds
@AJENews Eh, No single Ugandan has died due to Ebola and yes, one Congolese died in uganda and that’s it.
Uganda has experience in dealing Ebola and has always helped other countries when Ebola breaks out.
CDC general Jean Kaseya isn’t informed so is your reporter
Let us speak with epidemiological discipline. Let the record be clean.
👉If there are Ebola deaths in Uganda, state them with source, district, date, and confirmation.
👉If the deaths are in DRC, do not baptise Uganda into another nation’s mortality statistics.
👉If the number is regional, say regional.
👉If the risk is cross-border, say cross-border.
Public health communication must inform without inflaming, warn without wounding, and protect without creating unnecessary panic.
Facts are not decoration. In an outbreak, facts are medicine.
A Ugandan Captain based in America secured a deal for Tenge Tenge in 2024 where a certain company had reached upon an agreement where they wanted to start manufacturing catoons using Tenge Tenge’s face. A company was going to pay 180m ugx to Tenge Tenge and his team plus 30% on sell outs but the father took the boy away from the manager and wanted to sign the contract by himself. Things fell apart when the father told the American company that if they can’t come to Uganda and look for him to seal the deal then they should back off.
"Why do Americans think that their lives are more important than the lives of Kenyans?"
My CNN report on the public opposition to an Ebola isolation facility for Americans in Kenya
Leader of the Xenophobic group, Jacinta, was filmed begging a White man to employ South Africans in his firm, instead of local foreign Africans. The White man refused.
He said that most of them do not show up at work on Mondays. This is quite embarrassing!✍️
