NEWS: A leader of the March and March Movement in the township of Inanda in Durban was on Tuesday night shot dead outside one of his shops.
Sihle Emmanuel Mbambo (53) was shot dead at eMachobeni in Inanda after closing one of his shops on Tuesday around 8pm.
According to his widow, Londiwe Mbambo, he owned five spaza shops across Inanda and a salon.
She said he was killed after cashing out money from one of his shops and moving to the next one with a shop assistant.
โI was told to rush to the scene because he had been killed and when I got there I found his car riddled with bullets. The shop assistant who was in the car was also shot and injured and is currently in hospital battling for her life.
โThe killers stole the money he had just collected from the other shop and the second shop where he was shot,โ the widow said.
Furthermore, she confirmed that Mbambo was an active leader of the movement in Inanda and he regularly attended their meetings in the area.
โSince he had shops in the area he was a member of the March and March Movement and a direct competitor of foreign nationals who also owned shops in the area. Thatโs why we are calling on the police to take this matter seriously,โ the widow said.
The leadership of the movement said it was aware of the matter and was in touch with the family regarding the matter.
A case was registered at Inanda SAPS under CAS 212/8/2026.
@Markosonke1 Since you can see that why don't you start that initiative, you can't expect Jacinta to be everywhere and if you think you can be against her then you are against us. We love Jacinta and we want her to be president of our country.
ANOTHER @SANDF_ZA VIDEO SURFACES :
Another video of @SANDF_ZA voicing their fustration against @MYANC led government.
It becomes clear now that some officials hate what @GovernmentZA is doing to South Africans. Choosing illegal foreigners over its people.
I guess time is now to fight against the oppression that @MYANC is subjecting our country and its people into.
We're doing this for our future generation.

@ZungulaVuyo Mr Zungula we need accountability, those who granted bail must be held responsible. They were colluding with perpetrators. This is the reason our country is dangerous. Because of people who think they know the law.

@JacintaNgobese My leader, South Africa needs you more than you can imagine. Even if you can stand for presidential election it would be a joy to many of us. We see ourselves in you. We trusted the exiles for far too long, it's time to be represented by one of us and it's you.
