Gov. Jeff Landry signed House Bill 636 into law, a new anti-hazing measure named in honor of Caleb Wilson, a Southern University student killed by hazing in February 2025.
The new law, which takes effect Aug. 1, requires annual training for college students, an anonymous reporting system, public disclosure of violations, stronger reporting requirements, and permanent bans or expulsion from campus for organizations involved in hazing deaths. https://t.co/95eXcWrjNa

Major cheat code for life: Be fully where your feet are. When you're at work, work. When you're with family, be with family. When you're resting, rest. Most people are physically present and mentally everywhere else.
Nobody talks about the tens of thousands of dollars districts spend on curriculum teachers didn't want, didn't choose, and have to supplement heavily to make it relevant to our students.
