@SylvieClosVT Witch from mercury had some really stellar mobile suit designs, and story wise I still like it more than I ended up liking gquux. I keep remembering an interview saying witch was purposely made for the audience of Japanese high schoolers since they couldnt relate to war stories.

@SylvieClosVT It really blows my mind sometimes how people latch onto the opinion of like 1 person they heard online. Silent hill F while it has its problems is going through the same thing. Doesn’t help silent hill F wants more than 1 playthrough to understand the story.

@SuchPettanko I remember a friend getting me to go to a LGS to play commander, and one of the guys we ended up playing with got annoyed when I said that I hoped mtg would get more anime art style cards. That guy said he didn’t want “those people” playing mtg. And I haven’t been back since.

@SylvieClosVT I also have been hearing the organizers don’t have the best reputation. There’s also an issue that Bandai is scape goating and pointing to a small few bad actors to take focus off them. And people who weren’t at the event are taking that at face value.

Three judges leaked the QR code at the Bandai Card Fest yesterday.

Two of them were Oklahoma judges were caught and one of them got away. They talked to Dallas Police and I don't know much more than that.

One scalper got the QR code and listed the Suletta/Miorine Gundam Mats for 250, 300, 350, 700 on eBay and then the judge sold the QR code to the highest bidder. The person who bought it leaked it to their private discord.

The Bandai Card Fest unique stuff got sold out on Saturday to scalpers before the competitors even entered the venue.

Thanks @GUNDAM_GCG_ENG . Your posts advertising the cool Card Fest stuff is an extra sting.

Maybe we should make sure that something like this doesn't use a QR Code/Link to wait-list buying stuff because anybody with a brain could have seen this happening a mile away.

@SylvieClosVT This is insane. Did they just leave the event to some outside organizers? I how did they pick out these judges for the event? For an event with their brand name on it, I thought they’d be more careful.
