🚨 NEW: Alex Weingartner named 2026 Gatorade Player of the Year in New Jersey high school baseball!
Congratulations to the St. Augustine two-way standout, who is having a stellar senior campaign for the Hermits. The Penn State commit is batting .512 on the season with 32 RBIs, 43 runs scored, and six home runs at the plate. On the mound he has a 1.03 ERA with 64 strikeouts over 34 1/3 innings.
Weingartner and the Hermits will be back in action tomorrow when they take on Red Bank Catholic in the Non-Public "A" South semifinals.
