In September 1986, a German climber set out for a hike in the Swiss Alps — and was never seen again. Nearly 40 years later, melting glaciers revealed his remains and hiking gear. And this is not a unique discovery.
Studies show that glaciers in Switzerland lost half their volume between 1931 and 2016 and another 12 percent between 2016 and 2021.
Recently, this rapid melting has exposed the remains of several of the 300 or so hikers who went missing in the Alps in the last century.

If you have resolved hepatitis B and take b-cell depleting drugs such as rituximab or ocrevus, do you need to take antivirals? Maybe not. This case series (28 people) showed no hepatitis B reactivation even without antivirals. Author: @XMontalban https://t.co/W3zKc7cB6w
