Sorry if its long thread, but I need to express how I feel, because as Aerith fan, I feel little sad 🥺🥹😔

Is it fair that Aerith went on the journey with Cid and Vincent in the original game, but now she’s completely absent just because the mystery of whether she dies or not is being used as bait to generate interest and get people talking about the game?
When I watched the promotional trailer, it didn’t seem like anyone was affected by Aerith’s absence except Cloud (and even his reaction might now depend on the player’s choices).
I don’t want to be negative, but it looks to me like Aerith won’t have a strong presence in the final part of the game. She might just appear at the end to save the planet, and I don’t want that for her. I want her long suffering to have real meaning, for her absence to have meaning, and for her to have a strong presence as a heroine in the game itself, not just on the cover. I’m tired of her being used as a tool to spark questions and theories. I want Aerith to be present in the third part as a playable character and a full member of the party.
