Can’t believe the ethnic cleansing of Kurdish civilians is still happening in Kirkuk. It’s shameful and absurd to continue forcing farmers and civilians from their homes and land, just as was done during the Saddam regime, when 140,000 Kurds were forcibly removed from the city, not to mention many more Arabised. In post-Saddam Iraq nothing has changed; and nothing will change as long as Arab chauvinism and racism persist.

All these incredible Kurdish women activists/human rights defenders have been shot, assassinated or bombed by Turkish drones or thugs. Turkey’s war on the Kurds is also gendered and women are disproportionately targeted by this fascist regime. We have yet to see justice for them!

Erdogan will never accept that the Kurds of #Rojava eradicated ISIS which he supported, armed and gave anti-Kurdish intelligence to AND that they have managed to create the most radically democratic, inclusive, women friendly region in the Middle East- so he aims to bomb it away.
