Excellent podcast by @EEAST_Safety, interviewing @MandyHickson & Emily Crosby. Insightful to hear about the importance of ‘just culture’ and the benefits of regular crew briefings to keep us aware of our own limitations and challenges #patientsafety#NHS#Ambulance
What an incredible night it was for our class of 2022! And it so happened to be #InternationalParamedicsDay too!🥳🤩. Massive thank you to the @UHParamedic team for al you support. Good luck to everyone in the future!
Do you know CPR? Our paramedic science students take you through the procedure 👨⚕️👩⚕️
Don't forget, if someone is unconscious and not breathing normally always call 999 first and start CPR straight away.
Prescribers/drug nerds, a question:
Are there any legal implications surrounding mixing medications? Specifically, the combining of salbutamol and ipratropium bromide within a nebuliser acorn.
Is there any guidance to do so safely, or legislature preventing us from doing so?
