Should we sue both the hospital and insurance company, because it feels like collision between the very well known insurance company and hospitals for them to leave specifics out knowing the insurance would require that info?

My wife had thyroid cancer in 2019. This year we found out it came back, and moved to a lymph node.

In November she a surgery and had it removed.

I was then reminded at my works benefits presentation that I have Critical Illness Insurance that covers cancer.

Should we reach out to a lawyer if the report that includes the staging doesn't get sent to us in time and the insurance claim is denied because of it?

We filed all of the paperwork for the Critical Illness Insurance. The claim got rejected.

The insurance company said we had to submit the pathology report after the surgery that includes the TNM staging.
