I've driven 2.5L+ kms on Indian roads/highways and my biggest fear has always been 2 or 3Ws.

Trucks have a bad reputation, but they're actually the most predictable, follow their lane, and don't move erratically.

In fact, they don't stick to the left lanes because of these cockroaches aka 2/3Ws. They have a height induced blind spot and are too heavy to make sudden changes.

I'm again gonna come as rude and unsympathetic, but I totally get it why hit and runs are so frequent, especially involving involving 2/3Ws. Irrespective of who is at fault, the biker is NEVER at fault. The larger vehicle always ends up facing the law irrespective.

Imagine how brain dead one has to be to assume their 100cc Splendor stands a chance against even a 1 tonne LMV. Forget a 20T HMV.

It is important to address this issue, as continuing on the current way may lead to generational poverty. The government should reconsider the long-term impact of the freebies and subsides and limit it extremely for cases like this.
