A $250M compute centre is a 10-year infrastructure play. It won’t produce a believable pilot in 18 months on its own.
The early wins need to come from the $20M implementation fund + the Fund’s first disbursement.
The conclusion and the most important thing I publish in this series.
The framework meets the strategy. Here’s what the next twelve months need to look like.

And here’s where I’d start, if I were sequencing this:
Cocoa. Then public administration.
Why? The data infrastructure already exists in both. The returns are undeniable.
The RAI Authority’s job in year one isn’t eighty things.
It’s 3:
1. Publish a sequencing plan within 90 days
2. Make Fund disbursement criteria public before money moves
3. Settle its own name and legal mandate
Earn credibility. Then expand the mandate.
Ghana’s $270M launch commitment + the GHS 5bn National AI Fund seed capital already EXCEEDS what my framework calculated was the minimum needed for the accelerated growth path.
#Ghana is not under-resourcing this strategy.
It is humbling to consider that if we harness just 1 millionth of the Sun’s power for AI, that will be much more than a million times the intelligence of all of humanity
@ElonBarakoa@elonmusk The true nature of humanity is to expand beyond itself. To be all we can be. We were meant for dominion. That's not a religious statement. Every out of body experience says we're larger than what our bodies constrain us to. I think that's a deeper metaphor than we realise.
Ghana's AI strategy demands priorities.
I shudder to think about a government entity grappling with 80 goals before the next election cycle reshuffles priorities.
Pause to evaluate education, healthcare, infrastructure.

Opus 4.8 just reclaimed the coding crown from GPT 5.5. We’ve said before that when AI hits 50% on Humanity's Last Exam, that's got to be “AGI”. It’s the closest proxy for self-improvement we could possibly specify. Opus 4.8 just hit 57.9%.
This one feels significantly better at managing parallel threads and layers of subagents. One of the biggest advantages AI has is the ability to be spawn infinite concurrent workers (or at least as many as Dario allows us to).
Book 16.
A humbling #history of the visionaries, teams and serendipitous moments that birthed the #tech we now take for granted.
Read this book in 2017. Seems so much more meaningful to me now. I'd give anything to hear what @WalterIsaacson thinks about AI now.
We still discuss AI as merely innovation. The assembly line was innovation. This has the innovative semblance of a nuke.
Magnifica Humanitas!
My newest piece. Enjoy.
