@IMJustinBrooke Based on my own karate experience, most pure strikers struggle the moment you take them down from a normal standing stance. They simply aren’t trained for that kind of pressure or positional control.
@IMJustinBrooke I’ve always felt that in a one-on-one fight, grappling gives a much bigger advantage. Once the fight goes to the ground, you can control the opponent completely. Their strikes stop mattering, and their legs and hands become vulnerable.
