the reason the Essaeans are not refuted in the bible is because Jesus and John were Essaeans, which means OF ESAU.
- The new testament is a dramatic retelling of the story of Esau & Jacob.
- Jesus is the new Esau, First born Son, most loved etc. the True Melchizedek (Righteous King & High Priest of Salem "Peace", hence Jesus "Prince of Peace") prophesied in the Melchizedek Scroll 11Q13, who has come to take the priesthood back from Jacob, who stole it from Esau, the last true Melchizedek.
- Paul is the new Jacob, who has come to steal the priesthood back from Jesus by wearing his skin as a suit & telling clever lies that subvert his original intent.
- - Western Civilization is not Esau.
- - It is Jacob wearing Esau's skin.

I don’t think that’s the crux of his argument but that’s certainly one of their goals & they have been largely successful. They simply disagree on whether or not the trinity constitutes idol worship (it does) this is only an issue bc the Christians misunderstood Jesus words. Jesus never claimed to be God & when he referenced “My Father” & said before Abraham, i am, he was obviously referring to Melchizedek the King of Peace, the first & eternal high priest, hence Jesus Prince of Peace. This is made all the more obvious by the Coming Melchizedek dead sea scroll 11Q13
