I need help finding any West Indian or Caribbean restaurants or food vendors in Lagos. I'm looking for Sweet Potato Pudding, Jamaican Rum Cake, Sorrel, Ginger Beer etc. Any plugs, please?
The infamous #genderpaygap continues to be discussed in misleading and incomplete ways; less about actually achieving equality, and more about pedalling a divisive political agenda.
So what’s missing from the conversation?
And is it really a pay gap, or a child penalty?
@MallamSawyerr@SisiSugar I still look at those pictures from time to time. I also try to do the same when I go to weddings and there's no real photo person. Thanks a lot, mon ami.
Worse is how the growing number of subjects where young men are behind continues to be ignored, as men fall behind and drop out.
So what is #stem to you?
‘STEM’ is a carefully crafted political term that actually removes the sciences where women are over represented.
Biology (where women dominate) is not STEM… medicine… psychology… veterinary science… neuroscience… none are considered STEM…
Why?
Are they not sciences?
Ever wondered why you hear ‘35% of stem graduates are women’, when HESAs own data show actually 54% of STEM graduates are women?
Well let me show you the hidden secret of “STEM”.

A beautiful and inspiring story.
It also helps that I'm currently in love with Chess as well.
Thank you, @FuadXIV

@MalePsychology@SeagerMJ It only gets more awkward, when @UN_Women advocate for 'gender neutral terms', then they themselves promote clumsily coined words like "mansplaining" and "manterruption".
Make no mistake – these are the words of children and hypocrisy.
As @MalePsychology and @SeagerMJ show us, we systemically exaggerate the badness of men, whilst simultaneously minimising the good.
Why do we do this, and what are the consequences?
Isn't it odd that you only really hear the word 'male' when suffixed to any number of bad words, like privilege / violence / toxicity / fragility etc.
Similarly, the world continues to de-gender words like 'fireman', but what about words like 'gunman', 'knifeman', or 'mad man'?
On 1/2/23 at about 10:45 pm I, Oje Osayame was beaten and extorted by two police officers for simply not consenting to a search in Lekki phase one. They brutalized me and left me on the road side without being taken to a station or charged with any crime.
This harassment is unwarranted and a violation of my fundamental human rights I am petitioning for a proper investigation into the conduct of these police officers.
The same day I left to my place of business in Lekki phase one and I found there were two armed police officers restricting me access. They claim there is an ongoing investigation on me when I ask what the investigation is about they refuse to tell me.
They walked around my house to my back door and front door looking through my windows and talking amongst themselves. They were around for 2 hours before But I stayed away at a neighbors house until they finally left.
On 6/6/23, 5 officers drove to my residence in a patrol in what appeared to be an ambush; unbeknownst to them I had stepped out of my house and was watching from a distance.
On 3/5/23, At the scheduled hearing, the prosecuting attorney told the judge to postpone the hearing because they were in talks with me for a settlement which was completely false. I am due to go back to court on 23/06/23 But am still being targeted by the police officers
I was charged me with a fabricated case of theft and I was thrown in kirikiri prison for 4 days after already spending 3 days in their custody. i finally made bail and was given a court date of 3/5/23 for the charge of theft .
From the courthouse cell I was then sent directly to kirikiri maximum prison, but before I left the courthouse cell one of the police officers paid an inmate in my presence to have a group of them beat me up on behalf of the police force.
