BATTLEFIELD 6 just got a ton of new info, gameplay and impressions from people who played it

Here are all the highlights:

- NOT coming to PS4 & Xbox One

- 9 maps, 6 modes confirmed

- Described as "it's battlefield!" by players, basically feeling like BF3 & BF4 rather than anything new or groundbreaking

- Battle Royale mode is free-to-play, Game costs $70

- Operation Firestorm from BF3 is back

- OG four classes Medic, Recon, Engineer and Assault are back

- Aims to bring back the atmosphere of BF3 and BF4

- Battle Pass system confirmed for monetization

- Portal returns, create your own map and modes + Server Browser included

- You can earn XP in Portal

- Strong focus on destruction, no levolution.

- Single-player campaign is back

- Battle Royale confirmed, map seems to take place in California

- Kinesthetic Combat Movement allows you to crouch, sprint crouch, lean, slide, roll over and more

- Early access beta on August 7-8, Open Beta on August 9 - 10, Open Beta 2 - August 14 - 17

- Coming to Xbox Series X & S, PS5 and PC

- Launches October 10th

I have missed Battlefield 4 so much and this is sounding like its aiming to bring a very similar experience, I've waited a decade for Battlefield to finally make a comeback, I really hope they get it right this time.
