If you see this, you're legally obligated to record a cover by the end of the year

@HeyItsRaffe I LOVE SHTEPPIIIIII

[Raffe @HeyItsRaffe]

@itscoffeerun PLEADE DROP ITTTTT!!! W SHTEPPI MENTION!!!

[Raffe @HeyItsRaffe]

And if I turn on the AC, everything might sound more screwed because my setup is constrained to being right next to THE DAMN AC VENTS

It's just an endless cycle of, "I'M BURNING ALIVE, WHY IS IT SO FUCKING HOT RIGHT NOW???"

And: "Everything sounds so much muddier... / AC noise"

[Raffe @HeyItsRaffe]

Doing the blanket recording strategy sounds great for the audio!

But then my face gets all red from the embarassement I feel from the singing (and then listening back to said failed recordings),

And now my entire body feels hot (because I'm trapped under a blanket).

AAAAAAA-

WHY DID SHE START SPEAKING ENGLISH IM CRYINF

[Raffe @HeyItsRaffe]

@shiyurri THIS IS SO CUTEEEEE, OHMYGOD- 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

[Raffe @HeyItsRaffe]

I might back out of doing it live, but I definitely want to try and record *something* tomorrow.

[Raffe @HeyItsRaffe]

I'm trying to understand when I'm supposed to use leads, doubles, harmonies, and adlibs

So I decided to take one of the songs I want to cover: (Alohaii - Luxury (feat. vally.exe), and split it up while looking for each usage.

AND OH MY GOD, THE ACAPELLA IS A GOD SEND FOR THIS!

[Raffe @HeyItsRaffe]

This has also given me a new-found appreciation for the song in general.

;The vocals are so pretty, and being able to hear it individually is so cool.

ANY WHOSE: Alt stream tomorrow maybe(???) Where I try to use all of the principles I've gathered from mixing thus far: live.

@Snorpyon YIPPEEE!

[Raffe @HeyItsRaffe]

My current plan is to get down everything that I am confident in singing, and then loop around to do some of the more complicated portions

Those being: verses that are hard to completely record without losing my sense of pitch, or ones that need aesthetic filters that Idk about.

(Day 4 of recording my first cover)

GOOD NEWS! I've gotten over the anxieties of recording this cover after rewatching the VODS of mix breakdowns from youtaite's I look up to

I still don't feel like I know exactly what all of these magic filters do, BUT I know enough to record!

[Raffe @HeyItsRaffe]

@Doughkey_Dough "I will be returning to regular streaming on 9/17 with a marathon stream..."

EVERYBODY: Mark your calendars, GET IN THE GOD DAMN CAR, WE ARE SO BACK!!!!!! AAAAAAAAA-
