According to the Cornell University’s Office of Civil Rights, they have a documented history of only issuing “written reprimands”, “apology letters”, and temporary suspensions as a remedy for individuals that they themselves deem RESPONSIBLE when investigating the FORMAL COMPLAINTS OF sexual assault.
I have highlighted at least 10 SEPERATE instances of this happening. These are FORMAL complaints. These are instances where the university investigated. Where the accused was found RESPONSIBLE.
Being robbed of nearly $2,000 in equipment, being violently attacked, totally mobbed and surrounded while there are exactly 0 law enforcement present is so radicalizing.
They won’t even send an officer to take a report.
Please prioritize supporting boots on the ground media coverage and not social media accounts aggregating what’s going on. If you’re watching what’s happening on the ground in New Jersey or elsewhere please make sure it’s a first hand source that you trust. I’m seeing social media pages getting more views and attention for talking about it than I am the journalists and individuals putting their bodies on the line every night.
