A congressional office is a workplace. Not a place to find your next date.
We introduced two resolutions to ban Members of Congress from having sexual relationships with House employees or living with House staff.
Your staff should never be your romantic partner or roommate. If you cannot serve without abusing your position of power, resign.
While Dr. Fauci was lying to Congress, Americans followed every rule handed down to them. Stores shut their doors, classrooms sat empty, events canceled.
Fauci walked away with his title and his fame. Then Joe Biden handed him a pardon on the way out, stretching all the way back to 2014.
The top health official in the country should not get special treatment for misleading all of America during a global crisis.
Accountability is long overdue.
INTRODUCING: The Eliminating Dangerous Preservatives Act.
Three potentially dangerous and lab-made preservatives are hiding in cereal, chips, crackers, frozen meals, and snack foods across America: butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA), butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), and tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ).
They exist for one reason: to keep highly-processed food on store shelves longer. If you can’t pronounce it, your kids shouldn’t be eating it.
The National Toxicology Program lists BHA as reasonably anticipated to be a human carcinogen. TBHQ isn’t even approved for use as a food additive in the European Union. Yet American families are eating them every day.
Under our legislation, any food containing any amount of BHA, BHT, or TBHQ would be considered adulterated under federal law, meaning it can’t be manufactured, sold, or distributed. Manufacturers get two years to reformulate their products, giving the FDA time to issue implementing regulations. Within three years, the FDA will report to Congress on how companies reformulated their products and whether further action is needed.
Your snacks shouldn’t outlive you. Our families should be fed real, clean food, not food manufactured in a chemistry lab.
South Carolina families should not pay higher electric bills so Big Tech can power its data centers.
We've called for a one-year moratorium on new data centers while lawmakers put real protections in place.
The rules should be simple: data centers pay for the energy they use and the grid upgrades they require.
South Carolina is not Big Tech’s personal power grid.
Meet Somali Congresswoman Ilhan Omar (if it’s even her real name):
🚩 She can’t say for sure whether she married her brother.
🚩 She claims to live paycheck to paycheck while reportedly worth up to $30 million.
🚩 She thinks there were 11 world wars.
🚩 She said America is becoming one of the worst countries.
🚩 Now her name reportedly isn’t even her real name.
Send her back to Somalia. ASAP.
Over $40 MILLION returned to the people of South Carolina’s 1st District.
