Our benchmarks show it as a notable improvement over Sonnet 4.5 on longer tasks, but below Opus 4.6 for intelligence.

The Codex GUI has been my go-to for everyday coding sessions on hobby projects. I rarely need to go to my personal Cursor.
Profissionally I always use Cursor to maximize precision, harness and review.
I like the easy checkout/rollback too
