Check your replays and their names. They are all private accounts and in the replays their movements are linear.

The Borderlands movie wasn't great but it was an average fun summer movie.

Sure, the acting wasn't great and the lore is different but this isn't the first franchise to be like that. The Resident Evil series. Watch the first one again if you don't believe me. It found success.

All of those are worth a watch. The only Western shows I look forward to now are the Boys and Invincible.
