@Crystal_Kois @mandallin Maybe you saw Fortune Quest? Natsumi Mukai designed the characters for that series, too :) Fortune Quest was much sillier than +Anima tho lol. If you look into it, I rec the 4-ep OVA over the TV Series
@Joichichan@mintiestars I like to think of the theme as “words have power.” Sophie strengthens the curse on herself with her own words to the point that only she can break the curse. Sophie’s sisters use magic to defy what is expected of them. Love that book! I’d love to see a miniseries of it ❤️
Let's celebrate #SEGA60th anniversary by looking at the companies past logos:
Service Games Logo: 1945–1960
Red SEGA: 1960–1975
Early Blue: 1975–1982
Modern: 1982–present
@Joichichan I actually never watched the anime! I’m glad it was good. It’s prob my fave manga by her ❤️ I love how she makes normal daily routines weird lol
@Joichichan Oniisama e by Ryoko Ikeda had some competitiveness. It has its share of pros and cons, but it is full of drama and style whether you check out the 70s manga or the 90s anime :)
@WintreKitty I like fantasy settings or series that include fantastical elements :) I read horror print comics, but not horror webcomics for some reason
@RILPERSONA That’s prob a fair way of putting it. There are types of writing/characters that slowly make problematic ideas in real life seem acceptable. Pop Culture Detective on YouTube covers a lot of these topics well :)
@RILPERSONA Then we get into that tricky situation of if we should really be canceling creators for problematic characters. As a reader, what I perceive as “problematic” is largely based on what is acceptable for the demographic. My feelings on this are complex & I’m sure differ from others
Many of the world's most instantly recognisable logos started life as a simple sketch, often scrawled on anything from scrap paper to the back of a napkin. Take a look at these examples collected by @CreativeBloq https://t.co/lgDl7dvB5i
