I'M SHOCKED.
After living in Japan for over two years, I recently visited the USA with my wife. It made me realize that the USA is dysfunctional in so many ways and has such a low-quality standard across the board.
Here are the things I noticed:
Being a curly hair girly is hard work and wanting to style my hair in so many “straight hair” friendly looks is like an itch I can’t scratch but, must….do..it.
Technology is making people stupid; common sense isn’t just something you’re born with. Children learn the most trough observation, but if there’s a screen in there face whose behaviors are they observing and learning from? NO ONES!
When I was a kid my mother made me pay for my own candy at the store so I could learn to count out exact change.
Had me watch her make deposits at the bank and showed me how to write a check.
Taught me how to mail a letter.
Do people really think their children learn life skills by osmosis?
Just paid a lot of adult money for a kitchen countertop and installment. These assholes are 3 hours late and didn’t bother to call to let me know. You would think when someone spends that much money they at least deserve a heads up not make them wait 3+ hours.
@AliGiammattei@Bornakang I was waiting for the “he’s on to something” moment. Then realized this person probably has canned pasta cooking skills and standards.
Sip on more of what you love while you soar. Add @earthsowncanada oat milk to your coffee or tea. We’re the first Canadian airline to offer oat milk by request on all flights.
Most of these are men she’s done work with. Talk about a whole new meaning for a work wife/husband. If she has a project with your man’s get out while you can.
