Day 67: Today was the day in my JavaScript course where everything stopped making sense. 😵💫🤔 a lot of wtf is happening right now. Think it’s time to go back and review notes, rewatch videos & try more practice problems. #100DaysOfCode#CodeNewbie
Day 68: Review time! I’ve decided to go back and revisit the last 9 JavaScript sections of my class, only 38 pages of notes (all hand written cus I’m old 🤣) Today I reviewed functions, arguments, return & went thru 5 exercises provided by my class #100DaysOfCode#CodeNewbies
Day 65/66: finished my section on AJAX and AJAJ! Learned how to make XHR’s, fetch APIs and was introduced to Axios :) #100DaysOfCode#womenwhocode#CodeNewbie
Day 64: Learned more about JSON and XML. Starting using Postman and learned about headers, query strings & status codes. The type-a personality in me is very pleased with this standardization of these status codes 😆 #100DaysOfCode#WomenWhoCode
Day 63: Started a new section where we covered intros on: AJAX, Web APIs & JSON. I've always seen these acronyms so happy to start learning about them & how to utilize them. #100DaysOfCode#WomenWhoCode#CodeNewbie
Day 62: Finished the section on Async JavaScript and learned about working with promises, creating promises, & how async and await can shorten your code compared to callbacks. #100DaysOfCode#codenewbie#WomenWhoCode
Day 61: Went thru a refactoring section on the code a long from yesterday. Began a new section on Async JavaScript, learning abt the call stack, the debugger tool in chrome, web APIs & callbacks. I watched the last video 2x so it’s time to stop today. #100DaysOfCode#womenwhocode
Day 60: I’m 50% done with the #coltsteele@udemy web dev bootcamp today! I’ve learned so much, & have so much more to go. Finished the code a long today and was also introduced to https://t.co/xpsMcRXk1d #100DaysOfCode
Day 58: Learned about event bubbling and event delegation. Also did a code-a-long using DOM manipulation I’ve learned so far, events, html & CSS. #100daysofcode
Day 57: Struggled thru a JS form events exercise. I listened for the submission, prevented default behavior, grabbed the input & product values, created a new <li> element & appendd to the <ul> on the pg. Once I learned abt the elements property, I was good ha! #100daysofcode
Day 56: Continued in the DOM events module of my class learning about events, utilizing the keyword this with events, keyboard events, event objects, form events & preventDefault. Got through a lot today :) #100DaysOfCode#WomenWhoCode
Day 55: Worked on a random color button exercise using the onclick property & addEventListener after learning about them today. Also learned about inline events. #100DaysOfCode#WomenWhoCode
Day 54: Learned about navigating parent, child & sibling elements as well as adding or removing between an adjacent sibling. Worked thru a demo on creating elements & appending them - I enjoy working on projects to see how this can be used in real life. #100DaysOfCode
