It’s during the valedictorian speech, where the ask the top student to address the graduates with their thoughts.

That’s the venue and the reason she is speaking. Once that is established, everything that follows is a 1st amendment violation of political speech.

TL;I’M DUMB: the government (principal) gave her a venue then repressed the content. That is exactly that 1A is for.
