Ever wondered how Heschl's gyrus got its name? Thanks to @ofgulban who showed me the original manuscript I now know! Check out this preprint if you're curious! https://t.co/b41s8aUSaf via @OSFramework
I'm happy to share that the first paper of my PhD project is now published open-access with @PLOSONE!
We built a flexible behavioral paradigm and tested the effects of rhythm, carrier frequency and temporal cueing on the perception of sound sequences.

Auditory cortex | 20 hemispheres | cytoarchitectonic areas on *individual* surfaces
A good chance to appreciate the macro- & micro-anatomy of the human auditory cortex.
+ We make the surface models public, as a service to the auditory neuroscience community.
