I love when someone doesn’t like what I have say so they go through my Twitter to find something to be offended about instead of engaging with my point. Hi baby 😘 you should just make a fan account at this point.
In light of the recent Colleen Ballinger online 'drama,' a lot of people have been sympathizing with and praising Trisha Paytas and I'd just like to remind everyone that she:
-fetishized Jews and responded that, no, she just "wanted to be in the upper echelon of the world."
-called her ex-co-host 'Jewy' because she thought he wasn't paying her enough.
-wasn't sure if she wanted her daughter to be Jewish because "there are too many Jews in L.A"
and...responded by not taking any responsibility and crying on the floor because it's terrible to call someone an antisemite.
I get it, the ukulele sucks, but you don't need to uplift a problematic person to bring another problematic person down.
@ThreeDailey I’m still amazed none of her friends have made statements about it. It’s disgusting. Even if I hadn’t spoken to them in years, If someone I once called a friend was found out to be an abuser I would make sure everyone knew I found those actions disgusting.
@gemini_desmond@oklimbo @kennalise1 That’s really not true. I know several people who smoked once and it still fucks with them. It wasn’t done responsibly and now they have issues. That’s why you have to be careful consuming ANYTHING that is going to affect you mentally. That includes weed and alcohol.
We have art and music and religion and science and math and literature. We get to feel love that lasts our whole lives and pain that feels like it will kill us abs I think both are really beautiful in their own ways and that’s what I love about people. Idk.
I’ve been thinking about why I just don’t like marvel as much as I like DC and I really think it comes down to the idea that marvel hero’s are humans that want to be Gods and DC hero’s are Gods that want to be human. One is more relatable, the other is so much more compelling.
I think it’s really popular right now to be cynical, and there are reasons for that. It makes sense. But man is it exhausting. The want to be something more, to surpass humanity and be something better is relatable and I get where it comes from but I think being human is amazing.
Imagine having the audacity to stay absolutely silent when an Israeli is murdered with an axe in front of his son but suddenly find the words to blame Israel for the murder of a journalist without any proof at all that Israel did it? Could NEVER be me.
Everyday, Jews wake up to more non-Jewish discussions of the Jewish Question.
Everyday, Jews wake up to more instances of Jew-hate from literally around the world.
But we are proud & resilient & we will outlast all those that are trying to destroy us...as we have always done.
When Jews are beaten up in the streets of New York and London so-called human rights organisations like @Amnesty are nowhere to be seen.
When Jews build a democratic, free, secure, and thriving country in their ancient homeland they relentlessly and obsessively stigmatise them.
