Asia Cup earns most of its revenue from India, about 80%. All the money goes to the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), which then shares it with all boards, including the PCB, while keeping a cut for itself.

The more ACC earns, the bigger the share each board, including the PCB, gets. How does ACC earn more? By hyping India vs Pakistan, the golden goose. That’s why these matches are always on weekends, and the schedule is engineered to make India and Pakistan clash multiple times. Other boards happily go along, because the bigger the hype, the fatter their share.

So, every time India plays Pakistan, we’re pumping revenue straight into the PCB, and by extension, into Pakistan’s economy. Apart from moral considerations, this is also why we shouldn’t be playing them.

But still, the Govt and BCCI went ahead and played. Hope these two points were really worth funding the very country that wages a proxy war on us and kill our citizens.

There are several things where I don’t agree with @elonmusk but this is something I truly believe he’s right and on spot.

While I don’t think the debate hosts were fair to @realDonaldTrump, @KamalaHarris exceeded most people’s expectations tonight.

That said, when it comes to getting things done, not just saying nice-sounding words, I strongly believe that Trump will do a far better job.

After all, if Kamala can do great things, why hasn’t she? Biden rarely shows up for work, so she’s basically in charge already.

The question comes down to this: do you want current trends to continue for 4 more years or do you want change?
