My first wish of the new year was that my stepdad would get better someway somehow. He finally consented to the medical treatment that would help him recover from the cancer treatment. I am so thankful and overwhelmed with joy.

There needs to be more openness on the reality of cancer and and how it effects the family as well. Because watching my stepdad slowly die from treatment and not being able to eat or drink water. Its the worst kind of feeling.
