I had a great time despite the fact people laughed too much, especially a male in the row behind me. A Wakaba cosplayer gave me these really cool stickers!!!
I appreciated AoU more on rewatch though I do have issues, especially when comparing it to the show.
@nanamiburger True!!! I have developed an obsessive era with both of these characters at different times and made them my pfp across multiple platforms.
@underdejahvu@AprilsBooks Saying its used by far right groups in response to me elaborating its history presents to me the idea you were constructing a link between nazi maoism/other far rightists and the labrys flag.
Also why do you censor terf?
@underdejahvu@AprilsBooks Yes, but you essentially constructed a link between nazi maoism and the labrys flag, which is an inaccurate assessment which doesnt take into account the different usages of the symbol. Not to say you cant critique it, but please do it accurately.
@underdejahvu@AprilsBooks That wasnt really the intention behind the labrys flag though. It was essentially a usage of retrofitted memory to assert Radical lesbian identity, though its often separatist and quite terfy often undeniably. It isnt used in the same way as a far right group still
Ik I only have 10 followers but if I get even one response to this that'll be cool.
