Power has now been restored to the Keanchulish Transmitter and we have swapped out the RCB which we believe was the source of the problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.
We currently have an outage on the Keanchulish Transmitter which is affecting Strathkanaird, Gruinard Bay and Little Lochbroom. Kim is on his way to fix this and it should be restored shortly.
There will be an interruption to our service in parts of Ullapool, and all of Rhue, Ardmair, Strahkanaird, Gruinard Bay, Coigach and Little Lochbroom today 7th June between 1 - 2 pm as we undertake the upgrade of the link between the Radio Station and Altnaharrie Transmitter.
We are currently running on our backup connection which is very limited. We hope our full connection should be working later this morning and we will swap over as soon as it is confirmed as stable
All subscibers in Achiltibuie, Gruinard Bay, Badluarach, Scoraig,
Strathkanaird and Drumrunie were reconnected by 12pm. Thanks for all
your patience and understanding while we dealt with the aftermath of
Storm Caroline.
Subscribers connected to the Mungasdale Transmitter are suffering a full outage. Service will be restored on Monday morning when the weather forecast is for a clear and calm day. Drumrunie will also be fixed on Monday.
Achiltibuie is suffering from a full outage. Hopefully this will resolve as the wind dies down today otherwise Spanner will be out on Monday to go to Tanera Mor to fix it.
Meanwhile subscribers connected to the Mungasdale Transmitter are suffering intermittent outages. Service should be restored as the wind calms at about 12pm but if not Nick will go up when it is safe to.
