Work from last night. Pretty much wrapped up the main gun. Pieced together from the parts bin. The holes in the barrel were done using a one off jig to ensure they were perfect.

Some more scribing work. @showmewhatyoubot sent over some @gunprimer master guide tape. I wasn’t sure at first but it’s been a pretty nice time saver. I would recommend trying it out if you are curious about it.

Cut out the grenade “pockets” on the side skirts.
1) #3dprinted a jig to help create a depth gauge using styrene and a tube.

2) filled the side skirts with epoxy putty and squished the depth gauge in (covered in Vaseline)

With the extended torso, the energy cables looked like a hula hoop. Chopped the crotch and moved the cables to be tucked closer to the body. Not the final result yet.

Randomly working on sections. Replaced all the rubber piping with springs. I have to come up with a plan to move the waist piping further back. This is just a mock up for now. Thinking about omitting the bifold Doga shield. I’m finding it to too clunky.
