She met her hero today. And in the incomparable Hampton Court. Actually @sixteenthCgirl was absolutely amazing today in a quite brilliant tour of HCP. I actually shivered in the Wolsey Closet. Fantastic day.

When the sun aligns through this gap in the stones it can only mean one thing… we’re close to the #WinterSolstice.

Stonehenge was built to frame this annual solar event, so the monument has been silently marking the Solstice for thousands of years.
