Growing up poor, having parents who struggled with addiction, and feeling very angry, very alone... I always wanted to tell my story.
Now, hopefully, with your help, I get to tell a part of it. Through a character I deeply love.

@Ollierain2 That's fine lmao. I think it's one of those things where the internet will hate on anyone who likes the show (after the finale), but like, I'm not gonna lie and say I didn't thoroughly enjoy it and connect with it.
@horizonsunz Body horror/mutation usually grosses me out the most (I can do gore all day), but I'd say there are like 2 scenes that made me squirm. Nothing insanely grotesque (for me at least)
I'm a forever in denial merger-bro, but I think the best evidence for the theory so far is the fact that Clayface actively avoids any mention of Batman lore.
The gangster isn't Thorne, Maroni, Falcone, Zucco.
The cop doesn't talk about Gordon, etc.
My ill informed take on the clayface review that seems to be causing a stir... dude paid for a ticket, nobody gave him an embargo, don't think he broke any rules.
I think people are mad because he didn't like it.
Anyways looking forward to seeing it Thursday.
like obviously I think Matt and Robs Batman is by far the best in live action and understands the character in ways I dreamt of my whole life, so I ain't complaining, but I would love to have read this script.
I actually think this sounds cool if it was well executed.
Like Batmans whole support system being rocked by psychological warfare makes Slade feel like Slade and not just giving the general audience the "bad ass dude with swords from that Arkham game I played"
Joe Manganiello reveals the plot of Ben Affleck's scrapped Batman movie from his memoir 'Bloodlines':
Affleck's film was pitched as "a superhero version of David Fincher's The Game" where Deathstroke tries to "dismantle Batman's entire life"β
Including killing Gordon, taking Alfred hostage, and nearly killing Batman & Batgirl.
Part 1 they had to shut down because COVID, then Matt geared up and directed looking like The Riddler.
Part 2 Matt is clearly giving his all while also going through whatever deeply serious thing he's dealing with.
Part 3 he will be on set while the bombs are dropping.
I think the reason he offered to step in is because he didn't want there to be another Whedon situation or for the movie to suffer because Matt physically cannot be there right now.
Other than his previous comments that seemingly embrace AI in the filmmaking process (hard disagree there)
Soderbergh is a fucking machine who respects the craft and filmmakers vision like few others.
I don't think he will do a thing without having Matt on the phone to approve.
