HAPPY 64th INDEPENDENCE DAY, UGANDA! 🇺🇬
Today 9th October, 2026 we celebrate 64 years of resilience and hope.
For us, it means the freedom to serve, uplift the vulnerable, and build a nation where integrity leads.
Together, let's celebrate our heritage and build our future!
Today, Human Integrity Organisation donated reusable sanitary pads to Mereba Orphanage Integrity School in Koboko District.
These were handed over to the Head teacher to support the girl child and ensure that no girl misses school because of her period.

Today 05/Oct/2026 we celebrate the world Teachers' Day.
Thank you for transforming the vulnerable women and girls into a formidable force in transforming the world into an equal space for all.
“Standing with teachers: 60 years of protecting the profession, advancing its status and shaping our futures.
Creating safe spaces where young people can learn, ask questions, challenge menstrual myths and talk openly about menstrual health. Every girl deserves accurate information, support and the dignity to manage her period without shame.

Menstrual health education helps girls and women understand their periods and learn practical ways to manage them.
Alongside reusable Menstrual Kits, learning sessions cover how to use, wash, dry and store the pads, while providing space to ask questions and discuss menstruation openly.

Keeping track of when your period starts can help you notice patterns in your menstrual cycle and estimate when your next period may begin.
Over time, this information can make it easier to prepare for your period and understand changes in your cycle.

Empowering Women, One Stitch at a Time.
We’re training women in tailoring, embroidery, financial literacy, and enterprise management.
From learning to thread a needle to learning to run a business, we’re building women who don’t just make products, they build livelihoods.
Behind every statistic is a story. Behind every story is someone who just wants safety, school, work, peace.

🩸 On 28 May, We celebrate the World Menstrual Hygiene under the theme #PeriodFriendlyWorld — calling for stronger action to end stigma, improve access to menstrual products and information, and strengthen water, sanitation and hygiene services.
Last Friday, we joined youth and stakeholders at the Uganda Youth Mock Parliament, organised by @AHFcares .
The plenary called on the government to develop a national policy on menstrual health to combat school dropouts, stigma, and the lack of sanitary products. Members of Parliament at the event pledged to push the 12th Parliament to prioritise increased funding for menstrual health.

Hi
This is truly incredible 💙 From one act of kindness to a whole wave of impact—thank you for turning generosity into something so meaningful for so many girls.
We’re proud to stand with you on this and to support ensuring girls have the dignity, confidence, and resources they deserve.
Behind these smiles are stories many don’t talk about.
Stories of discomfort, silence and sometimes missing school.
But with access to menstrual products and the right support, they can learn, smile and thrive confidently.
No girl should be limited by her period!
