An Israeli soldier posted photos of herself picking vegetables from a Lebanese family's garden and cooking in their kitchen, while the family is BANNED from returning.

The house still had food in the kitchen. The garden was still alive. Everything was exactly as the family left it, except the family.

Fifty-five villages in southern Lebanon remain closed to their residents. The people who planted those gardens and built those kitchens are not allowed back.

Someone else is eating their food.

The effect of April 8, the day terrorist Israel massacred 357 civilians and injured 1,223 others in less than 10 minutes, is still ongoing.

With a heavy heart and immeasurable grief, the body of Ali Abdel Karim Srour was recovered, eight days after the Israeli enemy airstrike that struck Beirut's Manara district.

Ali was only 17.

For eight days, he remained beneath the rubble, alone... after losing everyone. His mother, his grandmother, his aunt, and his cousin were all taken in the same strike. An entire family erased, leaving behind a single young man buried under the weight of devastation.

Ali was not just a name. His cousin Ahmad remembers him as a gentle, well-mannered young man, full of promise. This was supposed to be his year... he had been preparing for his official exams [senior year], dreaming of a future in telecommunications engineering. He had plans, ambitions, and a life waiting to unfold.

In his final days, there were conversations about leaving the country, about seeking safety… but fate gave him no such chance.

Ali is not a number. Like so many others, he carried a story, a future, and dreams that deserved to live.

He ran from the vehicle into a field and was struck and killed by an Israeli drone.
