With all due respect to Prime Minister Carney, I think this statement loses its balance. It begins with strong language about U.S. actions, violations of CUSMA, and threats to Canadian sovereignty, which naturally leads readers to expect a clear outline of Canada’s response. Instead, it ends by simply emphasizing more discussions and engagement.

A stronger and more balanced message would have been:

1. State the U.S. actions.

2. Explain the consequences for both Canadian and American workers, businesses, and consumers.

3. Clearly outline Canada’s intended response and leverage.

4. Conclude by saying that despite these differences, Canada remains open to negotiations in the interest of both nations.

That approach projects confidence without sounding confrontational. Strong diplomacy isn’t about sounding tough it’s about showing resolve while making it clear there is a constructive path forward. This statement starts with resolve but, in my view, doesn’t finish with it. It feels as though the ending loses the momentum built in the opening.

A Monaco video landed on my timeline today. Watching all those wealthy people arriving in exotic cars made me realize something: despite all their horsepower and prestige, very few offer what Tesla does with Full Self-Driving. Having your own digital chauffeur is genuinely one of the biggest innovations in modern motoring.

But it also made me think. Would a Model 3 or Model Y, despite their brilliant technology, ever feel truly presentable at that level? In my view, no. The only Tesla that carried the presence and elegance expected by executives was the Model S. By allowing it to fade into the background while focusing almost entirely on the Model 3 and Y, Tesla seems to have walked away from the very segment that helped define automotive prestige.

Technology alone doesn’t build a legendary car brand. Great car companies master engineering, design, emotion, heritage, and aspiration at the same time. That’s why many of the world’s most respected automakers have spent well over a century refining that balance. Innovation can disrupt an industry, but building an enduring luxury marque is a very different challenge.

There is something very off here.

On such an important and eye-opening post from a fmr congresswoman the views are only around 53K, while I regularly see low-quality posts defending or downplaying Israel’s genocide getting 400K+ views.

That does not feel organic.

X gives us the impression of being the ultimate free-speech platform, but the algorithm still decides what gets amplified and what gets buried. And clearly, it seems to be working exactly where it is supposed to work.

Don’t worry too much about the possible F-35 sale to Turkey. In my view, these fighter jets are NOT the untouchable miracle machines they are often marketed to be. Recent events, especially the Israel–U.S. confrontation with Iran, have shown that even the most expensive weapons systems have serious limits when tested in real conflict.

Sometimes these sales are less about giving someone a “game-changing” weapon and more about CLEARING EXPENSIVE INVENTORY, keeping defense contracts alive, and maintaining political leverage.

So if the U.S. wants to sell Turkey the F-35, maybe they are not giving away their crown jewel after all. Maybe they are simply moving another overhyped product from the shelf. And as for Israel, there is no need to worry even if that means quietly handing over the operating manual while selling the hardware to Turkey. :)

When it comes to Iran, people should remember that they are dealing with a civilization deeply connected, in one way or another, to generations of carpet weavers.

That may sound symbolic, but it matters. Carpet weaving teaches patience, discipline, focus, and composure. These are qualities many people who do not understand Iranians are only now beginning to notice in this conflict. Those who already know Iranian history and culture are not surprised.

Beyond that, Iran has a long tradition of education, technical skill, resilience, and strategic patience. This is not a society that reacts only in the moment.

By contrast, the United States often appears to lack patience, long-term planning, and independent direction. Much of its current path seems heavily shaped by Israel’s priorities, and that direction may gradually pull America toward serious economic consequences.

This may NOT unfold overnight. It may be a slow process. But supply chains, energy markets, military costs, and political instability all have a way of CONNECTING.

For ordinary people, this is a time to think carefully and prepare responsibly. Having several months of essential supplies is NOT panic; it is prudence.

The problem is that we signed the MOU because there was no military solution & we needed the SOH open.

Our best option is to just walk away.

That means the relationship moves beyond annual aid. It becomes structural. Instead of asking Congress every year to defend another visible aid package, the money and influence can increasingly flow through defense contracts, research programs, weapons integration, technology sharing, and joint production.

That is why this CLAUSE matters. It is not just aid. It is architecture. Once built into the system, it becomes much harder to remove.

I don’t usually watch Western media, but I clicked on this clip because the headline made me think, for once, maybe something different would come out of their mouths. Unfortunately, it was the same recycled nonsense.

The host describes Iran as a “barbaric” nation when it comes to women’s rights, yet conveniently forgets that this is the same region where girls’ schools have been bombed and innocent children have been killed. And the Israel she is defending so shamelessly is the same state accused across the world of carrying out a genocide, with tens of thousands of women and children among the dead.

The real frustration from people like this is not about human rights. It is that Israel’s hands were stopped from creating another chapter of destruction in Lebanon.

Shame on any media platform that gives this kind of rhetoric a national stage. Day and night, these voices are broadcast into people’s homes, manufacturing fear, hatred, and Islamophobia.
