Hidden Nerdy Side

A filthy TTRPG, anime and video game nerd who makes TTRPG YouTube videos. Check out the channel: ⬇️

I'm about to be on a plane for 3.5 hours.

FINE! I guess I'll actually plan out my next #DnD session...

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

Have a wild #dnd5e encounter idea?

Well, I'm making everybody's ideas work on stream in 2 minutes: https://t.co/YRd4DsWTYS

@IceHeadNigga These are dope!

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

What would you do to keep on living? What price would you pay? What would you be willing to sacrifice?

Is this a little too intense for a TTRPG video..... maybe?

Check out and steal this villain for your #DnD, #Pathfinder or any other #TTRPG games:

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

I wouldn't say I'm a sociopath... HOWEVER,

I do find myself asking my #DnD players to roll Perception checks for no reason. And when they roll low, I just say "...okay" and move on, despite having absolutely nothing planned.

[Satan @s8n]

Why’s everyone say I’m the bad guy?

I'm not the one who drowned millions of animals.

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

Hey, game masters. Just in case you need to hear this - originality is overrated.

Your table's definition of fun and enjoyment is all that matters. So unless you're publishing, feel free to steal away and be a hack, my friends.

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

@DungeonPapa Oh, you adorable weeb. I’m so proud.

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

We did it.

I'm so damn proud of my fellow nerds.

[D&D Beyond @DnDBeyond]

Over the past few weeks you, the community, have made your voices heard. And we’ve listened. OGL 1.0a will remain untouched AND the entire SRD 5.1 is now available under a Creative Commons license.🧵 https://t.co/hJTm2Rgruo

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

From purely a PR perspective, this latest #OGL announcement on D&D Beyond is a good response: https://t.co/z3uJtMAKdW

This alone will not be enough to regain the community's trust, particularly after the new D&D Beyond leaks. But it's a good first step.

#OpenDnD

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

@JoeKnowsGames Good content is good content. Talk about whatever you want.

If it’s good, people will listen.

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

During this whole #OGL, Wizards and Hasbro debacle, I can't help but feel bad for DND Beyond.

They were a company just doing their thang and then in less than a year were purchased by Hasbro, turned into the scapegoat and now are being rung out for every scrap of profit.

#DnD

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

@Indestructoboy Awesome art! How's the process coming along?

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

Due to #OpenDnD and the #DnD debacle, people have been branching out to #Pathfinder and its creators - which is awesome!

However, are there any other creators that cover any other #TTRPGs?

I'd love to seek them out

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

@BlackwaterDnd Heya! Canadian born and raised!

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

@kevin_video @CalebMoshier @nerdimmersion @Kneon @DnD_Shorts @splinterverse @griffons_saddle @takingd20 @DungeonPapa Man. I’m not even mad anymore. This is just pure comedy at this point.

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

For $3 million? I'd do it playing the lute while people pelted me with fruit.

[DnD_Shorts @DnD_Shorts]

Huge leak from an insider @Wizards

It's what we feared: the higher ups despise us, the D&D community, and see us only as an "obstacle to their money".

Subs on D&D Beyond are all WotC care about, so I've cancelled mine. Let your voice be heard #opendnd #StopTheSub

[Hidden Nerdy Side @HiddenNerdySide]

Hey, #DnD and #TTRPG creators who have made Kickstarters that have been fulfilled or who sell printed materials...

I am creating a video about you and I would love to ask you just a few questions

In exchange, I shall shamelessly plug your project in said video. DMs are Open
