"By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen."
Hebrews 11:3
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ’s Life, Death, and Resurrection is the focal point of all of history.
His Salvation split our calendar in two.
The Old Testament Saints looked forward to His coming.
The New Testament Saints tell of what He has done!
Intellectualism is the religion that the devil will use to ruin a lot of souls. It is the religion that worships "self" and rejects accountability to God.
@Phraser777 Not all who profess christ will be ready when Rapture will happen; some 'unwise virgins' will not have 'oil in their lamps'.
I believe the Rapture of the church in it's self will fulfill the prophecy/ parable of the separation of the wheat and tares.
@Phraser777 In simple explanation the Rapture is the catching away of the saints which is quite different from the 2nd physical advent of christ on earth.
The elect in verse 31 are the left behind believers who will survive the 7 year Great tribulation.
"For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God."
Romans 1: 20
• Trillions of galaxies each with a trillion stars and every electron is identical,
I see a Creator.
• I look at the periodic table with its groupings,
I see a Creator.
• I look at the living cell, with a DNA molecule,
I see a Creator.
• I look at the chemical equation for a chlorophyll molecule or watch a YouTube video explaining photosynthesis,
I see a Creator.
• I look at
the complete carbon cycle,
the complete nitrogen cycle,
the complete sulfur cycle,
I see a Creator.
• The world looks at the same evidence then decree they don’t need a god.
• The world and I will never be reconciled!
Firstly,i think it doesn't make logical sense to assume that 'non-existent' brought about ,existence', your car has a manufacturer and so does every visible and observable thing in this realm, unless you would want to assume that cars evolved from liquid ore and plastic fibers.
Suffering on the other hand is just one of the ripple effect of the human freewill akin to the law of causes and effect of secular and philosophical thought.
@SeeminglySapien You push intellectualism, but look around and see what it has brought the modern world to.
And by the way what moral compass are you using to judge the concept of good and evil?

Too many Christians today gravitate toward the comfortable, positivity, encouraging messages.
“God loves you just as you are,”
They quietly sideline the harder truths: the call to repentance, dying to self, the reality of judgment, and the narrow road that leads to salvation.
The God of the Bible is not just a passive observer. He is the sovereign, righteous lawgiver who interacts with humanity, establishes absolute standards of right and wrong, and holds mankind accountable for their actions.
From my observations of many critics here, the resistance is not necessarily toward the concept of creation, but toward the implications of biblical sovereignty.
Acknowleging the God of the Bible means accepting concepts like sin, redemption, divine judgment, and the surrender of personal autonomy, which directly clashes with the modern emphasis on self determination.
