MOBIUS WAS NEVER A FOOL HE WAS A VICTIM OF THE SYSTEM HE DI*D DEFENDING

.Most fans look back at Mobius’s story arc as a bittersweet tragedy about a bureaucrat who lost his way, but this scene reveals the horrific psychological reality of the TVA. Mobius didn't defend the Time Keepers because he was weak or gullible; he defended them because his entire sense of self, morality, and identity had been systematically erased and rebuilt from scratch. The moment he finally allowed himself to trust Loki and embrace his true origin, the system didn't just re educate him it outright deleted him for daring to possess free will. He was pruned not for committing a crime, but for remembering that he was human.

What hit you harder: Mobius finally realizing he was a Variant right before being pruned, or Loki watching his only real friend in the TVA get erased?
