The Hideaway Sessions – Session 3
A year ago the amazing Pitou was in London to play a show and promote her first album 'Big Tear'. With her we recorded our very first, very DIY, Hideaway Studio Session while she was there: https://t.co/15LSSZ2spO
Pitou brought along Lieke on keys and backing vocal. They played 'Animal' and 'Knife' from Big Tear, as well as 'Decay'. The wildlife footage is all from the Hideaway Studio's very own garden.
Tracks 'Ostrich', 'Pollen', and 'Older' written and performed by Dead Bird Lady. Video and editing by Imre Elzer. Audio recording and mix by Petra Randewijk.
For our second Hideaway Studio Session, Dead Bird Lady joined us armed with a mandolin and looper. We had the pleasure to record two songs from her freshly released EP 'The Granny House', and a new unreleased track.
Session 2 with @DeadBirdLady is out now: https://t.co/nSZmbMKh5C
Last November long-time studio friend and composer Lucy Hayes came to The Hideaway Studio to record this beautiful session. She played three of her songs as intimate guitar and vocal only versions. Video and editing by Imre Elzer. Audio recording and mix by Petra Randewijk.

Black Holes and Cello <3 We have been looking forward to watching The Edge Of All We Know. Our dear friend @zoecello spent a few weeks at The Hideaway recording cello and some of our unusual instruments to craft this special score. Now available on @netflix
We are open! Very excited to announce the studio is accepting bookings. Our team is ensuring COVID governmental guidelines are strictly followed on site. Autumn is here and the days are getting shorter, perfect time to get back to music making. https://t.co/ATCVv8Rnk5
