@Mark021004@OpenAI@thsottiaux Thanks a lot, Mark! I didn't think of CCSwitch at all, really appreciate you looking into it. I'll give it a try and report back if it brings my dot back.
Updated the Codex desktop app to the latest version and my dot is just gone. Paying $100/mo for Pro, it still shows up on my phone, but on my computer it's vanished. Kind of the opposite of what an update is supposed to do @OpenAI@thsottiaux
2 days later and still nothing. My dot only works for chat on my phone. In the Codex desktop app it's completely gone, and the server still won't connect. Anyone else seeing this since the update? Has anyone found a real fix, not just a workaround? @OpenAI@thsottiaux
@Mark021004@OpenAI@thsottiaux Only temporary workaround I’ve found so far: you can still use dot through ChatGPT in the browser or on your phone. As for the server-side bug, we’ll still need Tibo to step in on that one.
@thsottiaux My dot appears on the web but is missing from the native Codex app. Screenshots: native app, web, and the cloud desktop showing “Computer unavailable”.
@thsottiaux Support has acknowledged the issue but hasn’t confirmed a fix. I need the existing cloud environment restored, with its profile, files and sessions intact.
@GeminiApp More context: on my MacBook Pro (M1 Pro) the native app freezes every time I open the chat tab with that Canvas. I can't reopen it and have to force quit each time. Please optimize Canvas performance 🙏
@GeminiApp Cool feature, but the native Gemini app on my MacBook Pro (M1 Pro) gets really laggy when Canvas is building the file, sometimes it freezes the whole app. Any plans to optimize performance?
