Our lab had the pleasure of hosting our long-time collaborator, John Brumell, at our Department’s Faculty Seminar Talk today! Thanks for coming to Harvard to share your science — we really enjoyed hearing about the fantastic cell biology work coming out of your lab!
G4 PhD student Bri Manning gave an excellent presentation on her research work at our Department seminar today! Great audience interaction and follow-up discussion on the future progression of the studies. We are all looking forward to hearing more!!
Our lab had the pleasure of hosting @AnatHerskovits for our department seminar today! Your talk was outstanding and very engaging. Thanks for sharing your work with us on pathogen-phage cooperation. We hope you enjoyed connecting with our faculty and trainees here at HMS!
Happy to share our new preprint describing prophage encoded anti-phage defense system,TERi, that targets the terminase complex of invading phages to inhibit DNA packaging. The system also encode self immunity proteins that protect the prophage.
